A group of women from varied professional backgrounds, including education, with the mutual objective of contributing to this field, decided to set up a school for girls - a response to the abysmal state of affairs following the 1972 nationalization of educational institutions.
As a result Lahore Grammar School (Pvt.) Limited jointly owned by eight women was born in 1979. These eight partners comprised the Board of Directors of the company.
